One of the most efficient strategies applied by the United States to try to discredit countries it considers a danger to its interests is to hire hundreds of bloggers around the world to attack them, according to Alex Saab Morán, a Venezuelan citizen, illegally and arbitrarily detained in Cape Verde.

In a letter he sent to W Radio, he explains in detail how the United States uses its power to “sell the idea that socialism is bad, that the country is immersed in corruption and that all its rulers, officials and contractors are corrupt”.

He explains that “they are more than a hundred bloggers in which they spend millions of dollars around the world to attack countries that they consider are a danger to their interests.”

“They spend millions and millions of dollars on them and on social networks so that they convince the world that the country is a disaster, even though it is not. The idea is to tell a million times a lie until people believe it is ‘truth’. And they succeed.

He also refers to Ofac (U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control), which – he points out – is used to scare those who support governments they consider a threat.

“It is a simple office, which can neither judge nor accuse anyone but which the United States uses to “sanction” and “scare” all those who support countries and rulers that for them are a threat. Russia-China-Venezuela-Turkey-Iran are the main members of that “prestigious” and shameful list they invented.”

“Should Russia-Turkey-Iran-Iran-China and all the countries that USA attacks make an equal list. Let it be called the Anti-Regime Law”, says Saab.

The Ofac – he explains – is based on, “after blocking the country, they prohibit the sale of spare parts, supplies, food and the export of its crude oil, the purchase of gasoline, the freezing of the money it had abroad (USD70. 000 Million Dollars) and the prohibition of loans, entry of ships to Venezuela to load crude oil, take food, take gasoline, which leads to everything becoming more expensive due to the risk of going or working with Venezuela and thus provoke a regime change that they have not been able to do because as they themselves say “They did not count on the resilience of Maduro” and the Chavista people”.

Saab also makes a comparison between the expenses of an average Colombian citizen and an average Venezuelan, and concludes that at the end of the month the Venezuelan has no money and ate and the Colombian has debts and did not eat.

In this sense, he questioned the 2% increase in the minimum wage for 2021 in Colombia. He points out that to the Colombian that 2% is going to go away by increasing the prices of food, transportation and others and they are going to be worse off than a 2012.

“Are they going to allow that? That 2% is going to go to increase the prices of food, transportation and others and they will be worse off than in 2012. It is as if they had the minimum wage of 2012 in the year 2021. Do you follow me?”.

“The (Colombian) state should look for the formula that the salary will go up with subsidies plus salary increase and reduction of services, an equivalent of 50% minimum, and even then they will continue living in misery but eating”, he proposes.

He also expresses that “in Venezuela the only corruption I have seen is from the famous American lobbyists who arrive there and steal millions of dollars from the government promising to fix the situation between the countries”.

“It was the USA that legalized corruption and called it “lobby”, but it only serves for them, they go around saying that they fix the relations of the countries and for that they want millions of dollars and business. THAT IS AMERICAN CORRUPTION”, affirms Saab.

What does the United States call regime change?

By: Alex Saab

I will explain it in a colloquial and simple way. The United States hates Socialism. Why? Because if the poor progress it can exploit them less. And capitalism, the economic model of the United States, is based on surplus value, which is nothing more than how much you can exploit the worker so that he can produce more and cost you less.

Just as they carry out coups d’états, many times as in Iraq and other countries, now they have tried with the geniuses they have, to carry out the same coup d’état without being very noticeable and they call it “regime change”.

To achieve this, they must sell the idea that socialism is bad, that the country is plunged in corruption and that all its rulers, officials and contractors are corrupt. And for that they have several formulas that they apply. One of them, the most efficient, is to hire hundreds of bloggers around the world. There are more than a hundred bloggers on whom they spend millions of dollars around the world to attack the countries they consider to be a danger to their interests.

They spend millions and millions of dollars on them and on social networks to convince the world that the country is a disaster, even though it is not. The idea is to tell a lie a million times until people believe it is “truth”. And they succeed, I give you an example: if you read in one of those portals you will see how many times each one attacks the same person with news and twitter. Posting a news is normal, but when it is the same character every day attacking someone it is because they pay him economically to change the image and reputation of this person.

So for example if a blogger, says daily that “Juan” is a thief and says it millions of times and likewise hundreds of bloggers hired by the United States replicate this information three times, the day you see “Juan” in the street without knowing him you will think: -look that is “Juan” and he is a thief-. And so, automatically “Juan” is a thief before the public opinion. Without having faced a legal process, without due process, without evidence, without a conviction, without anything. If the same figure is replicated to the whole government and its collaborators, one day people will be expected to provoke with violence a “regime change”, as they call it.

But Venezuelans already know them, we are not stupid, we see the reality of the inhuman blockade that the USA has imposed on us and the government and the country still subsist and we are not believing their lies.

When a hurricane is announced in Miami, everybody runs out and supermarkets are emptied because people think that the hurricane will destroy everything and they run to stock up beforehand, even if it does not happen later.

That is what Borges, Bobolongo, Paparoni and all those shameless opposition people did. They repeatedly told the people that they were going to die of hunger, to the point that 3 million compatriots ran away from Venezuela. Of those, 2,500,000 have already returned to Venezuela, because they know that they will not die of hunger in this country. The other 500,000 are trying to return with the help of President Maduro. Do the math and you will see that it is so. Venezuela is helping them to return little by little.

Apart from the bloggers, one day Bill Clinton, during a massage in his Oval Office, invented the so-called OFAC or Clinton Act. What is the basis for it?

Simple:

After blocking the country, they forbid them to sell them spare parts, supplies, food and to export their crude oil, to buy gasoline, to freeze the money they had abroad (USD70,000 Million Dollars) and the prohibition of loans, entry of ships to Venezuela to load crude oil, carry food, carry gasoline, which leads to everything becoming more expensive because of the risk of going or working with Venezuela and thus cause a regime change that they have not been able to because as they themselves say “They did not count on the Resilience of Maduro” and the Chavista people. So they invented the OFAC.

OFAC is a simple office, which can neither judge nor accuse anyone but which the United States uses to “sanction” and “scare” all those who support countries and rulers that for them are a threat. Russia-China-Venezuela-Turkey-Iran are the main members of that “prestigious” and shameful list they invented.

So that’s when bloggers serve them best. If you read any OFAC sanction it has no proof of anything. It just says “The Armando Info portal, Infodio, La Patilla, etc…say that ‘Fulanito” is corrupt, therefore, he is corrupt. It is as simple as that. Read them, they are public. No proof of anything. Legally they have no effect unless you have property in the USA and they freeze it. Otherwise they can’t arrest you or anything. But when you go to a bank to open an account, the banker tells you “sorry, you are on the Clinton List or OFAC for corruption”. So, out of the blue they close your accounts, cancel your credit cards, and make you a “scumbag” according to them and the world allows this? They are the gendarmes of the world? They can judge or damage a person’s good name without any proof? Trump is the one who has used it the most trying to achieve “his regime change” in Venezuela which he has not been able to, nor will he be able to.

Apart from that, as if they were the great sages of Olympus, it clearly states the sanction in its last lines, I invite you to look for one and read it. This is what this sanction says: it is to correct behavior. It is not permanent. Whoever collaborates in the return of democracy in Venezuela or “regime change” will have the sanction removed and will become a decent person again, according to them.

Russia-Turkey-Iran-China and all the countries attacked by the USA should make a similar list. Let it be called Anti Regime Law or let the name be chosen by the intellectuals and there we will sanction like them all the businessmen and their relatives who want to or who have business in our countries. At first they will laugh because they think they are powerful.

But believe me, they all have business in our countries and when they come to open accounts or at the moment of withdrawing their money we will tell them “I am sorry, sir, you are on the anti-regime list”. But why don’t we do it? We need a leader to push it and you will see how we will begin to level the world.

Adversity has the gift of awakening talents that in prosperity would have lain dormant (Horace). An injustice such as they do to an individual, company or country is equal to a threat to the whole society! The real tragedy of the poor is the poverty of their aspirations, that’s why they don’t fight and the Empire blockades and squeezes them until they take away your country and your oil and start cutting off your electricity, water, gas, gasoline, education and the air you breathe until you pay them the credits they are going to grant you!

Because of course the “regime change” comes loaded with money, they lend you to “fix” the country, but they charge you for everything until they squeeze you, until you fall in default and it becomes unsustainable as it happened for example with Argentina, privatizing water, electricity, gas, etc. that they have not let us improve because of the blockade, but it is still free in Venezuela, not like in Colombia where you do not have enough to eat.

To suffer deserves respect, to submit is despicable! There are no nations, there is only humanity and if we do not understand this point, there will be no nations, because there will be no humanity. No more empire. No more blockade of Venezuela. No more oppression. No more sanctions. Venezuela respects itself and has the right to make its own decisions.

Venezuela has a great team in the government, just having Tareck El Aissami as Economic Vice President and Minister of Petroleum and Delcy Rodriguez as Vice President is like having Cristiano Ronaldo and Leonel Messi in the same team.

I am not finished, now let’s look at my beloved Colombia, I want to compare it with Venezuela even if you don’t like the comparison. The minimum wage of the Colombian today is USD 250 average with transportation subsidies etc. Let’s compare what a Colombian makes with those USD 250.

Venezuela today is dollarized, nobody’s salary is really less than $250=. It is not $10 as they say, because during the month the state deposits many subsidies in their tarjeta de la patria.

So at the end of the month the Venezuelan has money and ate and the Colombian has debts and did not eat. I understand that this year is atypical and because of covid the companies have suffered. But that is when the state has to prioritize, put its hand in its pocket for a couple of years, steal less in the contracts in general, sorry I meant to say, and make the money yield to relieve the companies so that they can relieve the employees. Because we are already talking about raising the minimum wage by 2% by 2021. Are they going to allow that?

That 2% is going to go to increase the prices of food, transportation and others and they are going to be worse off than in 2012. It is as if they had the minimum wage of 2012 in 2021. Do you follow me? Covid is not a problem of the people, it is a problem of the state. The people can’t pay with a 2% increase because the geniuses of the state can’t figure out how to raise them at least 25% and lower the services at least 20% of the cost. If they don’t know how to do it, I am willing to go and solve it in one day.

Are you going to let this decision that the “nobles” go down to the middle of the battlefield as in the time of the Scottish battles with England, with their poor people of Scottish soldiers behind them and negotiated between nobles the lands and then went up on horseback and told the people “today there will be no war”, we could not achieve anything?

Colombia needs a William Wallace, a Che Guevara, who says NO. You cannot allow that those who negotiate for you the minimum wage, are the same ones who want to pay you less, like the Andi. Do you understand that? You criticize Venezuela so much and look at the comparison of salaries today. Now, if for you a 2% salary increase is fair, then you have the government you deserve and I have no opinion. The banks should no longer receive the 4x mil, that should go to the people.

Even in Italy the government gives coupons to its employees for food.

The state should look for the formula that the salary should go up with subsidies plus salary increase and reduction of services, an equivalent of 50% minimum, and even then they will continue living in misery but eating. In Venezuela the only corruption I have seen is from the famous American lobbyists that arrive there and steal millions of dollars from the government promising to fix the situation between the countries.
